Two delusional escapees from a mental institution hatch a plan to create a movie about rescuing a princess and earning a magical kiss, but their amateur filmmaking adventure takes an unexpected turn as they become embroiled in the life of a burned-out prostitute with a penchant for self-destruction. As they navigate the complexities of real-life drama, the boundaries between reality and fiction begin to blur. The result is a darkly comedic exploration of obsession, desperation, and the power of social media.
