Gen-X Cops

In this high-octane action comedy, four young Hong Kong police officers are paired together to take down a notorious gang of criminals who have stolen a shipload of explosives. Led by tough cool guy Jack (Nicholas Tse), playboy Match (Stephen Fung), goofy Alien (Sam Lee), and techie Y2K (Grace Ip), the team must use their unconventional methods to track down the gang's leader, Akatora (Tôru Nakamura), and prevent a devastating terrorist attack. With plenty of humor, style, and explosive action, this 1999 film is a classic example of Hong Kong's "90s action films" that feature young stars, special effects, and sub-par scripts.
