A Thousand and One

Inez de la Paz (Teyana Taylor), a convicted thief released from prison in 1994, kidnaps her six-year-old foster son Terry to raise him herself in New York City. As their family grows and changes over the next 11 years, Inez's determination to provide for Terry is put to the test by her own past mistakes and the rapidly shifting cityscape around them.
