In this fantastical adventure, Yang Jian, a powerful god known for his all-seeing third eye, has traded in his divine duties to live a mortal life as a bounty hunter. Twelve years after imprisoning his sister, he finds himself on the opposite side of justice when his own nephew, Chenxiang, sets out to obtain a magical lotus lantern that holds immense power. With its slick 3D animation inspired by jazzy influences from "Journey to the West" and "Cowboy Bebop," this film brings Chinese mythology to life in a thrilling way.
