Typhoon Club

The film "Typhoon Club" (1985) follows the lives of a group of middle school classmates in a small town outside of Tokyo over the course of a week, culminating in a ferocious typhoon that traps them inside their school. As the storm rages on, the students' personal struggles and relationships come to the surface, including Rie Takami (Youki Kudoh) struggling with her family life and Mikami's impending departure from town, while Ken's crush on Michiko Omachi (Yuka Ônishi) takes a dark turn.
