"Gate" is a 2018 South Korean crime comedy film directed by Shin Jai-ho, following So-eun (Jung Ryeo-won), a safe breaker planner, and her team, including expert safe breaker Jang-choon (Lee Geung-young) and thief Cheol-soo (Lee Moon-sik). Meanwhile, former elite prosecutor Gyu-cheol (Im Chang-jung) struggles with his memory after a mysterious accident. The film is reportedly inspired by the Choi Soon-sil political affair, which erupted in 2016.
