Bless the Child

Maggie O'Connor (Kim Basinger), a psychiatric nurse in New York City, adopts her autistic newborn niece, Cody, from her sister Jenna, who abandoned her at Maggie's house just before Christmas. When Jenna re-enters Maggie's life with her mysterious new husband Eric Stark, abducts Cody. Despite lacking legal rights to Cody, FBI agent John Travis (Jimmy Smits) takes up Maggie's cause when he realizes that Cody shares the same birth date as several other recently murdered children.
