A gripping drama that delves into the darker side of athletic ambition, "White Palms" tells the story of Miklos, a Hungarian gymnast who flees his troubled past to start anew in Canada only to discover he's perpetuating the same cycle of abuse among his own students. This thought-provoking film explores the devastating legacy of a Communist-era coach and the true cost of success in the high-pressure world of competitive sports. As Miklos confronts his own demons, he must also confront the consequences of his actions on those around him. A powerful exploration of the human spirit and the enduring impact of trauma.
