Air

In 1984, Nike's basketball shoe division is on the verge of shutting down due to low sales. Sonny Vaccaro (Matt Damon), a marketing executive, is tasked by Phil Knight (Ben Affleck) and Rob Strasser (Jason Bateman) to find a new spokesperson for the brand. Convinced that third pick Michael Jordan is a generational talent, Vaccaro convinces his friend George Raveling (Marlon Wayans) to support him in courting Jordan, who eventually signs with Nike after agreeing to earn a percentage of every Air Jordan sold.
