Bodil (Bracha van Doesburgh) and her friend Isabel (Elise Schaap), a lawyer, take a weekend trip to Ostend, Belgium, where they secretly have affairs without their husbands' knowledge. The elaborate web of lies unravels when one of them goes missing, leading Bodil to be questioned by the police about her whereabouts during the murder. As the investigation unfolds, the film reveals a complex web of deceit and betrayal, ultimately exonerating Bodil but not before she discovers a shocking connection between her husband Milan and the murder.
