Horses of God

The film follows two brothers, Yachine and Hamid, from their childhood in Morocco's Sidi Moumen slums to a decade later, as they gradually radicalize under the influence of extremist ideology. The story begins in 1994 with the boys' struggles in poverty-stricken Sidi Moumen, where they face violence, abuse, and exploitation. As Yachine grows older, he is drawn to Ghislaine, Hamid becomes a major drug dealer, and Nabil, Fouad, and Khalil spend their time smoking pot. Ten years later, the brothers' lives are forever changed after the 9/11 attacks, leading them down a path of extremist ideology and ultimately, to a devastating terrorist attack in Casablanca.
