Crows Are White

The film follows Ahsen Nadeem as he travels to a secretive Japanese Buddhist monastery outside Kyoto, only to be banned after a mishap. He meets Ryushin, a heavy metal-loving monk who prefers ice cream to meditation, and they form an unlikely friendship that forces him to confront his double life and a secret he's kept hidden for years. Their bond is set against the backdrop of the seven years it takes to complete the Kaihōgyō practice.
