Tiga Dara

Three sisters—Nunung (Chitra Dewi), Nana and Nenny—are being raised by their grandmother in Jakarta after their mother's death. Though the sisters' father Sukandar lives with them, he is too involved in his own work to pay them heed. While the sisters are out, their grandmother tells Sukandar that before she dies, she wants the 29-year-old Nunung married. She impresses her potential suitors by playing piano and singing at a party, but remains disinterested. Nana tries to find her a younger man, while Nenny's attempts at matchmaking between Nana and a suitor named Herman backfire. Meanwhile, Nunung meets Toto, who becomes jealous when he finds out that she is being pursued by someone else.
