Night Labor

"Night Labor" is a documentary mystery film that follows Sherman Frank Merchant, played by Sherman Frank Merchant himself at 46 years old and 6'6", as he navigates his dual life as a day clam digger and a factory worker at night. With his distinctive white smock and black beret, Sherman oversees the preparation of tools for the day laborers who arrive at the factory's 6am shift.
