Puzzle of a Downfall Child

Faye Dunaway stars as Lou Andreas Sand, a former fashion model struggling with delusions and lies, in this 1970 American drama film directed by Jerry Schatzberg. The film follows Lou's downward spiral into depression and paranoia after being betrayed by her lover Mark (Roy Scheider), an ad executive she was engaged to marry. With the help of photographer Aaron (Barry Primus) and a psychiatrist (Barry Morse), Lou attempts to confront her past traumas, including rape and child molestation, in a desperate bid for redemption.
