In a scandalous tale of deceit and desire, two Olympic champions are duped into becoming the face of a sleazy health magazine, whose true intentions are far from wholesome. This pre-Code dramedy film stars Buster Crabbe and Ida Lupino as con artists who orchestrate the downfall of these unsuspecting athletes, with a dash of romance and music thrown in for good measure. A sly satire of the publishing industry, "Search for Beauty" is also a celebration of beauty and athleticism, set against a backdrop of intrigue and mayhem.
