Yoo Min-ho (So Ji-sub), CEO of an IT company, is the prime suspect for the murder of Kim Se-hee (Nana), his former mistress, after the police find him with her body in a hotel room that was locked from the inside. He hires lawyer Shin-ae (Kim Yunjin) to defend him, and as they dig into the case together, Min-ho's story becomes increasingly tangled with the truth. As Shin-ae reveals surprising connections between the suspects, including Han Young-seok (Choi Gwang-il), a mechanic with a personal stake in Se-hee's fate, Min-ho's innocence and guilt are revealed in a shocking twist.
