The Inspectors 2: A Shred of Evidence

Postal inspectors Frank Hughes (Louis Gossett Jr.) and Alex Urbina investigate a con man who uses identities of others to falsify credit card purchases, stealing offers from mail boxes and making purchases until the card is maxed out, but carefully paying minimum balances. The duo follows Joe, who has stolen numerous cards, including one belonging to Ed Furston, whose identity was also stolen. As Hughes and Urbina delve deeper, they uncover a web of deceit and murder, with several victims found dead after receiving credit card offers. In the end, the inspectors use their skills to track down Joe, leading to a tense showdown and the capture of the credit card thief.
