Hyväveli

"Hyväveli" is a 2022 Finnish drama film that follows Patrolman Loyan (Abdirahman Bile), a young Somali-heritage officer trying to find his place in the new police department. As Loyan navigates his ambition to become a detective, he's tasked with patrolling familiar neighborhoods with partner Johanna (Heli Sutela). When a man seemingly dies from jumping off a balcony turns out to be alive and starts investigating Antero Päiviö (Riku Kemppinen), a professional criminal involved in drug trafficking, Loyan becomes determined to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, his friendship with Warsame (Kamaludin Ahmed Abdulla) is put to the test as Loyan's trust issues arise.
