Village

In a once-scenic village now dominated by a vast trash disposal site, Yu Katayama (Ryusei Yokohama) yearns to break free from his cruel fate tying him to the very grounds he works at. His mother's financial struggles and their father's past crime weigh heavily on his life as "criminal's son" at the waste treatment facility, where his daily existence is marked by violence and social isolation. Meanwhile, Misaki Nakai (Haru Kuroki), a Tokyo native who has returned home, arrives at the facility as a promotional worker and unexpectedly discovers Yu, leading to an unlikely connection that may change their lives forever.
