In this powerful 1983 British television play, a 16-year-old racist skinhead named Trevor is sent to an assessment centre after being charged for throwing a brick at a Pakistani man's window. At the centre, he clashes with authority figures and fellow inmates, but despite some brief moments of vulnerability, his racist views and disregard for rules remain strong. As tensions rise, Trevor becomes embroiled in a series of escalating pranks and crimes that ultimately lead to his downfall.
