Deep Sea

In the 2023 animated fantasy film "Deep Sea," Shenxiu (Wang Tingwen) embarks on a quest to find solace in the Eye of the Deep Sea after her mother's departure and divorce. Joined by Nanhe (Su Xin), a struggling street performer turned chef, Shenxiu navigates a dreamlike underwater world filled with vibrant colors and fantastical creatures. As they journey through the "Deep Sea Restaurant," Shenxiu and Nanhe form a deep bond, confronting their own hardships and helping each other overcome depression and loneliness.
