In a bleak and uninspired portrayal of the zombie apocalypse, "Gangnam Zombie" brings us a generic, action-packed, yet utterly unengaging tale of terror in upscale Seoul. The film's protagonists, Hyeon-seok and Min-jeong, find themselves trapped in a high-rise office building as a mysterious outbreak transforms their coworkers into bloodthirsty zombies. With a convoluted plot and underwhelming zombie action, this ultra-low-budget horror flick fails to deliver on its promise of thrilling suspense.
