The Apartment

Max, a former bohemian and amateur writer, returns home to Paris after two years away and decides to settle down, getting engaged to Muriel. He catches a glimpse of his lost love, Lisa, in a café, leading him to pursue their rekindled relationship through a series of ruses. As Max's obsession grows, he begins to unravel the mystery surrounding Lisa's past and her complicated relationships with those around her.
