The Travelling Players

The Travelling Players (1975) is a Greek historical drama film that follows a traveling theatre troupe as they tour Greece from 1939 to the early 1950s, staging their play "Golfo the Shepherdess". The troupe's personal stories become entangled with the country's major historical events, including the civil war, election campaign, and Nazi occupation.
