Boy A

Boy A follows the story of Jack Burridge (Andrew Garfield), released from juvenile detention after serving 14 years for a crime he committed as a child, and his struggles to reintegrate into society as he builds a new life in Manchester. After being spotted rescuing a distressed child, Jack becomes a local celebrity, but when a newspaper article reveals his past, he faces the anger of citizens who fear for their children's safety.
