In this nuanced coming-of-age comedy-drama, a shy 17-year-old in suburban Oregon navigates his thumb-sucking habit, romance, and ADHD diagnosis as he copes with the complexities of growing up. With a persistent thumb-sucking problem that has led to major orthodontic repair, Justin struggles on his school's debate team, where he joins in hopes of getting closer to an environmentalist classmate - only to find himself challenged by his own neuroses and those around him.
