In the darkly atmospheric neo-noir "Paranoiac", Freddie Francis masterfully weaves a tale of mistaken identity, family curses, and psychological manipulation. When a man resembling the recently deceased Tony Ashby appears to his grieving sister Eleanor, she becomes convinced that her long-lost brother has returned from beyond the grave. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary reunion, but rather a sinister game of cat and mouse played by Simon, Eleanor's cruel and manipulative cousin, who will stop at nothing to claim the inheritance he believes is rightfully his.
