The Mute Man of Sardinia

In 19th-century Gallura, Italy, Bastiano Tansu (Andrea Arcangeli), a deaf-mute since birth, joins forces with Pietro Vasa (Marco Bullitta) after his brother Michele's murder, becoming a feared assassin in the feud between the Vasa and Mamia families. The State and Church try to stem the violence, but Bastiano finds peace in his love for a pastor's daughter before being forced to confront his destiny due to the superstitious world labeling him "the devil's son".
