Sentenced to Hang

In 1989, "Sentenced to Hang" brings to life the true story of the infamous "Three Wolves Case," a notorious kidnapping and murder that shook Hong Kong in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Directed by Wong Tai-lam, starring Tony Leung Ka-fai as Li Wai, Kent Cheng Jak-Si as Ma Yee-Charn, Elvis Tsui Kam-Kong as Tang Chi-King, and Carrie Ng Ka-Lai as Lai, the film follows the events of the case, in which three men - Ma Yee-Charn, Tang Chi-King, and Lee Kwok-hung - were arrested and eventually sentenced to death for their roles in kidnapping and murdering a businessman.
