Grand Canyon

"Grand Canyon" (1991) is about two men from different races and classes brought together by fate when Mack (Kevin Kline) finds himself in danger in a rough Los Angeles neighborhood. Danny Glover plays the character of Simon, a tow truck driver who saves Mack's life and helps him befriend his neighbor. As their lives intertwine with that of Claire, Mack's wife (Mary McDonnell), and Davis, Mack's best friend (Steve Martin), the film explores the "grand canyon" between social classes in America.
