Bound for Glory

A 1976 American biographical film about Woody Guthrie, starring David Carradine as the folk singer, follows his journey during the Great Depression, leaving Texas to find work among the struggling working class in California. He rides the rail with Slim Snedeger and performs at bars and migrant camps, eventually finding success through his music, but struggles with being true to his roots amidst the pressures of fame.
