Copperman

"Copperman" is a 2019 Italian drama film that tells the story of Anselmo, a mentally disabled man who grows up believing his father abandoned their family to fight injustice and becomes a superhero in his own right. Played by Luca Argentero, Anselmo's journey is accompanied by Antonia Truppo as Titti and Gianluca Gobbi as Ernesto. Directed by Eros Puglielli, the film was shot in Spoleto between July and September 2018 and released theatrically in Italy on February 7, 2019, receiving praise for its "gentle and courageous" tone and "interesting suggestions" despite being described as uneven at times.
