Eternity and a Day

Alexandros, a middle-aged writer (Bruno Ganz), leaves his seaside apartment after learning he has a terminal illness to reminisce about his past. Along the way, he encounters unexpected people and experiences that allow him to collect unforgettable memories in the final moments of his life. The journey helps him re-energize his love for 19th-century Greek poet Dionysios Solomos (Fabrizio Bentivoglio), whose unfinished poem he longs to complete.
