Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter

Agent Peggy Carter is relegated to a desk job and frustrated at her male boss's sexist dismissal of her place in the SSR. Ordered to work late one night, Carter gets an alert that the villain Zodiac has been spotted and decides to take care of it herself, fighting off multiple guards and retrieving the mysterious serum in the process. Afterward, she faces sexism again from her boss, John Flynn, but before he can reprimand her, the case line rings again with Howard Stark on the other end, informing Flynn that Carter will co-head the newly created S.H.I.E.L.D., a development that seems to validate her work despite his condescending attitude.
