In the scorching summer of 2011, Madrid is a cauldron of chaos as economic crisis and social unrest converge on the city's streets. Against this backdrop of turmoil, two flawed police inspectors must track down a serial killer targeting elderly women, navigating a complex web of crime and humanity in a thriller that cuts to the heart of both the city and its characters.
