Two very different families converge on Martha's Vineyard one weekend for a wedding, amidst the intersections of class, race, and culture in the United States. Sabrina Watson, the only child of an affluent family, falls for Jason Taylor, but their relationship is put to the test by her mother's secrets and the couple's own differences.
