In Darkness

"In Darkness" tells the true story of Leopold Socha, a sewer worker in Nazi-occupied Lviv who risks his own life to save a dozen people from certain death. Using his knowledge of the city's sewer system, Socha shelters a group of Jews who had escaped from the Lwów Ghetto during the Holocaust. As he hides them from the Nazis, he confronts his own prejudices and ultimately becomes a hero in their eyes, but at great personal cost.
