The Monster

Loris (Roberto Benigni) is mistaken for a serial killer due to his eccentric behavior, and police profiler Paride Taccone assigns undercover policewoman Jessica Rossetti (Nicoletta Braschi) to follow him. As Jessica lives with Loris in his apartment, she begins to doubt whether he's the killer, while Paride remains convinced of his guilt. The case leads to a series of misunderstandings and misadventures, ultimately resolving when Jessica discovers the true identity of the killer and clears Loris' name.
