In the gritty drama "No Fear, No Die," two young men from different backgrounds come together to organize illicit cockfights in Paris's underground scene, seeking quick cash and adrenaline. As they navigate the dark world of rooster fighting, Jocelyn finds himself increasingly disillusioned with his partner Pierre and the violence that comes with it, leading him down a path of obsession and ultimately, tragedy. Directed by Claire Denis and written by Denis herself, this 1990 film marked a collaboration between two future filmmaking powerhouses and features powerful performances from Isaach de Bankolé, Alex Descas, and Solveig Dommartin.
