"Warsaw 44" (2014) is a Polish drama war film that tells the story of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising during the German occupation of Poland. The youngest and bravest among the citizens rise up to fight against tyranny, but at great cost. The film features Józef Pawłowski as Stefan Zawadzki, who joins the armed uprising with his love interest Ala (Zofia Wichłacz) and their friend Kama (Anna Próchniak).
