Center Stage: Turn It Up

Rachele Brooke Smith stars as Kate Parker, a self-taught dancer who leaves her friends and little sister behind to audition for the American Ballet Academy, but is rejected due to an argument involving the school's director and a teacher. She finds work at a New York City club where she meets Kenny Wormald's character, Tommy Anderson, and they start dance classes together, as well as develop feelings for each other. After Kate breaks up with Tommy, he ultimately joins her in the final audition for the ballet version of "The Glass Slipper".
