The Blood of Heroes

In a barren world caused by wars waged in the 20th century and now forgotten, a brutal sport known as The Game is played by bands of roving teams known as juggs. They challenge local teams, competing for tribute from the town people if they defeat the locals. In this world, Sallow (Rutger Hauer), a former League player cast out for his indiscretions, joins forces with a talented newcomer, Kidda (Joan Chen). With their team's help, they aim to win The Game and gain entry into The League, a luxurious organization that offers luxury and power.
