A gritty and unapologetic Las Vegas crime drama, "The Trust" follows two disillusioned police officers, David Waters and Jim Stone, as they hatch a plan to steal a mysterious bank vault filled with extraordinary high-value gems. The heist is meticulously planned, but things quickly go awry, leading to a tense and violent confrontation that puts both the cops' lives at risk. With a strong performance from Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood, this film delivers on its promise of intense action and suspense, even if it doesn't quite live up to its full potential.
