Nayola

In 1995, during the Angolan civil war, Nayola sets out in search of her missing husband. Three generations of Angolan women navigate their lives through this tragic period, as Nayola's quest inadvertently connects with those of her grandmother Lelena and granddaughter Yara, exploring themes of mother-daughter and grandmother-granddaughter relationships amidst political repression, African mythology, and hip-hop influences.
