Everybody's All-American

The film "Everybody's All-American" is a 1988 American sports drama that follows the life of college football hero Gavin Grey, played by Dennis Quaid, from his youth as a star athlete to his struggles in the NFL and later in life after retirement. As Gavin navigates his fame and identity, he faces strains on his marriage to homecoming queen Babs Rogers (Jessica Lange), played by her throughout the film, with support from their friend Donnie "Cake" McCaslin (Timothy Hutton). The movie also stars John Goodman as Ed Lawrence, a rival teammate.
