Emanuelle Richmond Morgan (Shulamith Lasri), an African American supermodel, suffers from profound amnesia after a visit to Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War, where she fell into the centre of the conflict. She is confined to a mental institution in New York City and becomes the focus of Dr. Paul Gardner's (Angelo Infanti) investigation into her past, including connections with photographer John Farmer.
