The Misfit Brigade

In 1943 Germany, a tank crew of prisoners from penal battalions embark on a series of misadventures as they attempt to complete their suicidal mission behind enemy lines. Led by Corporal Joseph Porta, the team faces numerous challenges and absurd situations, including encounters with Russian deserters and an unexpectedly large German garrison at a train station. Ultimately, the men must decide between completing their mission or deserting, leading to a bloody conclusion that has been compared to "The Dirty Dozen". The film is a darkly comedic war story based on Sven Hassel's novel Wheels of Terror.
