No Retreat, No Surrender is a dated action-comedy film about a young karate student named Jason Stillwell who, after his father's leg is broken by a Soviet martial artist, trains on his own to protect himself and his friends from the members of a rival karate school. With the help of the spirit of Bruce Lee, Jason becomes a superior martial artist and ultimately defeats the Soviet fighter in a showdown that earns him the respect of his peers and family.
