Gus

The California Atoms, a struggling NFL team, finds success with the help of Gus, their football-playing mule. Team owner Hank Cooper (Ed Asner) is desperate to draw in fans and discovers Gus's talent in his first halftime show. With Gus's newfound skill, the Atoms start winning games and move up in the rankings, but two incompetent criminals try to stop them by replacing Gus with an ordinary mule.
